Qandil is a Swedish non-governmental organization, providing aid in Iraq through development and rehabilitation programs including humanitarian assistance within following sectors.

We have been working in Iraq since 1992 and our project activities have mainly been targeting Northern part of the country. Our organisation has approx. 50 employees with headquarter in Sweden and the central management office in Erbil. Our annual budget is around 6.4 million USD. The main donors are Sida, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNDP and IOM.

In Sweden, we advocate among Swedish decision-makers of the situation in Iraq and provide information about Qandil.
