Today Deputy Chairman of the Board at United Nations Association of Sweden and board member and Jury member of Right Livelihood Award Foundation. Engaged in cultural and tourism issues at the community level, and rural development programs at the regional level financed by EU.

Has also been engaged by the Swedish Agency for Public Management (Statskontoret) and at the public procurement department of the National Agency for services to universities and university colleges. During the period of 2002 to 2007, worked at Sida as procurement adviser.
